The Board of Directors has issued the

"We believe that all people with developmental disabilities should have the same opportunities as are available to all other citizens. In keeping with this premise, it is the philosophy of NBRC that its efforts be directed to promoting normalization, least restrictive alternative and dignity of risk for citizens with developmental disabilities and their families in Napa, Solano and Sonoma Counties."

  Board News “The Board Policy entitled ‘Development of Resources’ has been in existence since 1987 and its first revision, which was approved by the Board at its December meeting, is found in the link below.  Also contained in the link is PM 3551 which is referenced in the revised policy and has been in effect since 1983.  In order for NBRC to fully examine the implications of the newly mandated requirements in the recent contract amendment with the Department of Developmental Services, the NBRC Board will establish an Ad Hoc Committee and update the policy as required.”
